so the last time i visited this tattoo artist we were talking about our favourite songs because she's a clikkie too and holding on to you will always be my number one so that's what i said. we were kinda laughing at this because i said before that i am not a religious person and for some reason my favourite songs are usually the ones people assume are about god, so i started thinking about my own interpretation of hoty or even downstairs and how these songs were never about god for me. i like to joke about how i don't believe in god but i do believe in twenty one pilots, cause they are the reason i try to stay strong, also joining the fandom did so much for me over the past two years and i will be forever grateful. we also always joke about how clikkies are a cult so message man ritual is a perfect example of it, but i wanted him to be clancy, not tyler because is this your hero? well, yes. clancy is the most relatable character ever for me and i could write thousands of essays about him. clancy era was so powerful for reasons even i don't fully understand and i feel like it changed me as a person. and so clancy is kinda the face of this era for me so basically my hero, just like tyler - i also always say that he's the closest thing to god in my life lmao.

so basically this tattoo is a representation of the fandom and the band and all my feelings about them and entertain my faith seems to be a perfect summary of all these things (it's also tyler's handwriting). i hope this makes sense!!!
