Finding a Way

Instead of the fancy Sam and Dean from 15x13, an AU Sam arrives in the bunker from a world where he had to kill his Dean while he was possessed by Lucifer wearing the white suit, the vision Sam had in 15x5. Other-Sam is broken and devastated. There is no world to send him back to, and they can’t very well send him off on his own, so he stays with the Winchesters, who must help him deal with his particular brand of inner Hell. Excerpt: “Sammy?” The shadowy figure in the armory is barely moving. He’s crouched in a corner, head between his knees, running his hands obsessively through his hair. He doesn’t seem to hear or see anything around him. “I think it’s another one, Dean,” Sam says softly. “Another one?” “Yeah,” Sam nods. “Another one of us. From a different dimension. Trapped between worlds. He doesn’t even seem aware of what’s happened to him.” “Well, can you get him out?” Dean’s obviously a little freaked. He’s programmed to protect Sam, any Sam, even and especially one that’s suffering like this one is. “I can try.” Sam nods. He’s already rescued HunterCorp Sam and Dean from their interdimensional limbo, so he thinks he can probably do it again. But there’s always a risk that opening another rift will send this Sam into a different world, possibly one that’s already been destroyed or is on the verge of destruction. According to Billie, Chuck’s almost done destroying the other realities. They’re running out of time. Not to mention, Sam’s got a bad feeling about this. He can tell that the other Sam is in a dark place. The guy’s wearing a white suit, and that stirs a terrible memory for Sam. He’s not sure rescuing other-Sam is really going to help him. Other-Sam may not even want to be rescued. But Dean’s adamant. “Okay, what do we need to do?” His concern for this alternate Sam is palpable, and Sam’s damned if he’ll stand in the way of that.

A while back I saw this video where someone took a bunch of colors and shades, set Photoshop to grayscale and painted an entire digital image without knowing what color they were using exactly.
