Trying to break my artblock by completing a couple of commissions: i got to revisit another character I drew before, this time its Sunny belonging to @ccghastly. His Na'vi name is Trr'ong and his rider is named Nadia!
I've always adored this color palette, so it was fun to update the design a bit and do it on my new large toruk base. I love how he looks now!

Hey y'all! I know i've been a bit inactive, and I especially apologize to the few commissions i have waiting. I've been dealing with absolutely killer artblock, but hopefully this week and weekend I'll be able to get back in the groove.
Turned to traditional art to try to get the juices flowing, so have some diosaurs as an apology. (the top one is a tylosaurus, a mosasaur i know not a dinosaur technically. and the bottom one is a triceratops)

Happy new year, everybody! I've said it before, but you all mean so much to me. I can't believe there are little people in my computer who love the art i make. Thank you all so much!! It's been a crazy year for me: lots of new things, pushing boundaries, learning, getting better. I'm sure this coming year will be more of the same. But we persevere!

Freak that came to me in a dream. I had such a strong memory of him, I had to draw him before i forgot.
He was exclusively referred to as 'the smiling demon'. I can't quit figure out how to draw it, but the stars along his back and the collar were all shimmering, blindingly bright light. His body always appeared as a shadow, with no reflective qualities or texture whatsoever. He was also not entirely corporeal, and could not be touched or struck. His eyes and mouth never opened or closed, and his mouth could sort of undulate/change orientation slightly. He was also quite large, like as big as a pickup truck.
I tried to do a bit of an illustration of where he appeared in the dream, but i'm not totally happy with it.
Hi Dusky! Happy Holidays! I just wanted to ask a quick question! I love you artwork and was wondering if you were going to draw the dragons or oc dragons from the A Song of Ice and Fire universe, or in other words- A Game of Thrones? I just think your artstyle and how you color your ikrans would DEVOUR the dragons and give them justice! <3

I love GoT and I have an ASoIaF dragon OC named Mistveil who I draw sometimes! Here she is!
I'm still working on a story for her, and I should def draw the other dragons more often. I really like some of the canon designs, but some of the dragons i'd love to do my own re-design ;)

Anywayyyyy i think it super super cool that the wooden angel's cracks match up with the creature's face scars. Could mean nothing, Victor.
There are two versions of the angel: the dream version, and the wooden statue. This is referencing the dream version, though I might draw the other one as well. Gave him some nice skeletal griffon vulture wings too :). This took foreverrrrr and I'm still not entirely satisfied with the lighting, but that is a skill I'm slowly working on!
