New Intro Post GO!

Hi, I'm Kevin, I'm an illustrator who draws far too much.

My page contains depictions of rape, self harm, nudity, and suggestive content, and all will be accordingly tagged, but please be warned. I also engage in dead dove horror content often, also view with discretion.

Tag Guide: #kevin speaks (me talking, no art) #kevin asks (questions from my ask box) #kevins lore bore (thoughts and worldbuilding of concepts seen in my drawings) #kevin promo (commission info, prints, and other paid stuff)

What accent does Electra have?

He has a very thick Appalachian accent! The story is set in the North Carolina- Virginia area vaguely so he sounds more Virginian

Anonymous asked:

how old are your camper OCs and what are their interests?

TJ is 14 and she loves crafting and earning merit badges! She has the most out of anyone in her cabin. She also enjoys crochet and foraging for edible plants.

Circe's age is unknown due to the circumstances of her childhood, but she's slightly younger than Electra and appears to be an older teenager. Circe has a huge affection for animals and prefers them to humans, and she also likes the country and folk music station on the radio.

Electra is the same as Circe with an unknown approx age, but evidence points to him being the older sibling despite looking younger. Electra doesn't enjoy much or have many interests, but over the course of time he grows fond of dancing and alternative music. He's also a huge gun nerd.

Sam is as old as consciousness and he loves loves loves Electra and loves loves loves mayhem. In terms of the persona of Sam, the camper, though, Sam is 17 and a lover of punk music, extreme sports, xxx magazines, and prank shows.

Thinking about finally making the Electra web novel this year... If anyone has any questions about the campers it's okay to ask BTW

One of the most important plot points of Camp Ptolomaea is the fact that Electra is considering taking his own life. While it was his idea to escape the cult he grew up in, it turns out that the lack of purpose and higher power to serve has a negative impact on someone raised in that sort of environment. Electra is adverse to new experiences because he fears being manipulated or dirtying himself in some unexplainable way, and has resisted growing out of the person he's always been in because he plans on ending it. Electra has no meaning in his life and no goals, as well as a palpable ignorance about the outside world that is too daunting to him to overcome. Electra isn't wired to improve, he's been programmed to do what he's told, and now he has no one giving orders, so what's the point?

Sam sees Electra's misanthropy and how he sees everyone as the enemy, and instead of pushing Electra to embrace positivity like everyone else in his life, Sam knows that anger gives Electra purpose, and wants to perpetuate it to give Electra something to live for. If he gives Electra the anger that can drive him to come up with insane murder schemes, stay up all night waiting for him to go to the bathroom to snipe him, and follow him into the woods just to destroy him, than he buys Electra some more time to learn what he wants to live for. You don't have to be kind, you just can't lay down and die.

the campers of cabin thirteen! Camp Ptolomaea is a year-round troubled teen sleepaway camp in the middle of a part of the Appalacian wilderness known as The Wastes, 50 miles out from the nearest sign of civilization. Deviants like Sam and recently traumatized kids like TJ alike come to experience nature, community, and wilderness-related therapy. However, the Wastes are home to far more than just the campsite.....

Satan, or the concept of the adversary, manifests itself in countless ways in our lives and faiths. The devil exists not as a single entity but as a concept of opposition, and corrupts those who become obsessed with the temptations that opposition brings. For Electra, a boy full of hate for everything he casts his gaze upon, Lucifer is all consuming, existing in everything he knows-- love, friendship, family, they are all adversary, and he thinks of nothing but overcoming the overwhelming weight of a world he is certain is corrupting him. This is how Sam fell in love with him.

Been pretty analog for most of my adult life, but one thing I can tell you about it is that your bag gets fucking heavy. My sketchbook, notebook, sticker book, drawing tablet, pencil case, ipod, yaoi, and two gay interest magazines are all essentials I can't live without, so I have to bear the weight

how is kh3? i keep thinking that im not going to like it plot wise. But I do know its sora breakdown moments 1000

I have not completely finished it so I can't recommend fully yet (for context I'm at Arendale as of writing this). Story wise I think the independent worlds and character interactions in them are the best yet! Sora is adorable in it and him making friends has never felt more genuine. There have been a lot of moments that really deliver on past plot points so far and parallels between characters in different worlds are teeth gnashingly good. However again I do not see how all this coalesces yet so I can't fully recommend, but what I have seen has made me want to make 7 different multi page comics and 14 different fanfictions, so that's saying something

(so far the tangled world has made me the most ill. Ventus Rapunzel parallels my beloved)
