Yup, I've been saying. When this show first aired, its audience was primarily queer people and straight women who have been in mm fandom spaces for years (and however anybody feels about those straight women, they are not scandalized by mm content). But since it's hit the mainstream, a lot of straight people who otherwise never engage with queer media nor with smut/erotica (much less queer smut/erotica) are watching it and the primary appeal for them is the spectacle of queer sex, and queer lives. I hate to say this, because I love Connor and Hudson as creators and performers, and wish them the best, and believe they deserve every success and accolade out there - but the reason they have been asked to be on podcasts and talk shows and award shows, and the reason so many other celebrities want selfies with them, isn't because they've "made it," not really. It's because right now they're the most exotic animals in the freak zoo, and all of the most famous normies want to ogle and exploit them. It's the equivalent of extravagantly wealthy and famous people getting their pictures taken holding baby tigers. Connor and Hudson are the baby tigers.
