‏Hello, I am Iman from Gaza, a science teacher, and a mother of five children: Nada (11), Rahaf (8), Sarah (5), Sham (3), Zeina (9 months).

‏We were living a beautiful, very beautiful life. When the war broke out, everything was turned upside down 😔

‏My school where I work was bombed, my husband lost his job, our house burned down, and my children lost their schools, clothes, toys, dreams, and future 🥺

‏We lost ten members of my family and I am afraid of losing one of my children 😞💔

‏We lived in a tent that did not protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer!!

‏We were displaced more than ten times to escape the hell of war and there was no safe place to go to!

‏We were fleeing from one place to another until we were besieged and miraculously escaped death!

‏Then we set up the tent on the outskirts of Khan Yunis and lived in it and it was not suitable for human habitation.

‏In winter, the rains would drown the children and flood the tent with rainwater. My daughters got the flu, colds and diarrhea, and there were no medications. They were shivering from the winter cold and the winds almost tore the tent apart!!

‏We stayed in the tent until summer came with its scorching sun and many harmful insects such as flies, mosquitoes, scorpions and mice. The heat almost melted my daughters' bodies. They got skin diseases, ulcers, hepatitis, epidemics and pollution, all in a miserable tent that could not accommodate two people!! It was the kitchen, the storeroom, the sleeping place and the living area.

‏We suffer from fetching water long distances on foot, and it is not enough. If we find it, it is not polluted and not fit for drinking or use 💔

‏My little girl Zeina was born in this tent and left the hospital for the tent in dangerous health conditions! We suffer from crazy increases in the prices of food, detergents, diapers and milk, and there are no vaccinations or medications!

‏Do you think the tent is safe? No, by God, other tents were bombed near us and I and my children were shot at by the occupation naval boats while we were at sea, but we miraculously survived!!

‏Since the beginning of the war, we have been living on canned food and my children crave vegetables, fruits, meat and dairy products, but they are expensive. They crave sweets and we can't find them!!

‏As for our house, its walls were bombed and the walls and ceiling were burned and it is not safe, the ceiling could collapse or the walls fall at any moment!

‏Everything in our house was burned, the sofas, blankets, carpets, curtains, furniture, my children's beds, their belongings, clothes, toys, books and desks. They are always crying wanting their clothes, toys and belongings 🥺

‏We have been suffering from power outages since the beginning of the war (a year ago) and gas outages, and my children collect firewood and I cook food in primitive ways.

‏Every day there is destruction and bombing.. My children live in real terror. They lost their friends, relatives and dreams in this crazy war 💔

‏My children have lost a school year and here we are in the second school year and if they can't get out of Gaza, they will lose more school years, and the cost and losses will be huge!!!
