and here I thought Ally Beardsley couldn't top other seasons in terms of insanity.... but then they hit me with the good ol' "I ate my husband after eight months of being trapped underground, and Right after I spent a month of finishing him we were set free. He also begged not to be eaten. And! Turns out!! I was the only one who ate someone?? Insane! So I turned his metal scraps from his metal plating into a cage and put it on my head because there's No Possible Way someone's whole foot can fit through it. I can never eat another person ever again!"

oh! actually. so sorry. according to the adventuring party, she felt like it had been nine months total.

I'm still in shock and awe with how hard Brennan doubled down on the Gotch stuff... this was Murph's worst nightmare as a rules follower. The lunacy of Ally rolling Hatwell back into the encounter alone sent him into a state of "nothing matters, it's not canon"

It also felt like the ultimate "I've put up with crazy NPC shenanigans this whole time... now's the chance to do my own" which I just have massive respect for.

If Torse was made in a lab just for Murph's enjoyment, then Hatwell was made to make him go crazy.

i know brennan most likely had this planned well before (Mordecestershire mention in the drawing room in the first episode by Longspot and the advisor) but it'd be so fucking funny if he just saw Murph's bits with his family and decided "ah fuck it, they're in the final battle"

like, wdym these rich assholes made it to zood in one piece.... that's borderline plot armor
