The background of this painting is from the beginning of Season 4, where they have separated, but I still feel that Ian hasn't truly left. During the night, as Mickey cries and misses Ian, I believe Ian would respond in some way. So I painted Angel Ian embracing Mickey. "Please don’t go," is what Mickey didn’t get to say. I imagine Ian would surely reply, "I've always been by your side." I created this wedding anniversary card with a desire to comfort them. While anniversaries should be lively and joyful, I really hope to soothe their sorrow.
The character Ian is from Teacher Flying Spinach Ball's "Black Fist." He is male! He is male! He is male! He has only done makeup and worn fake breasts! He is still a top, but due to extreme hunger, he was helped by Mandy and switched to women's clothing to cheat in Mickey's underground boxing club. By a twist of fate, he ended up sitting on Mickey. This idea comes from my friend's fanfic <boy isolation>, and is mixed with Korean show Strangers From Hell concept. Mickey is a poor dropped out teen who lives with Ian after he came to the city, he already knows Ian is a fugitive but is okay about that. Ian tries to turn him into a partner and Mickey pretends to be a innocent dumb. After they show each other the true colours, Mickey is actually more brutal than Ian.
