Chronically online bulshitery

@explaining-memes-offical

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hello! Do you find yourself confused? Lost? Unaware of the happenings on this lovely hellsite we call home?

Well then you need a chronically online autistic gremlin to infodump about everything you could ever wonder about!

I am going to *attempt* to try to explain everything in depth and correctly, but I am also a person, I make mistakes and I can't be here 24/7. If I get anything wrong, you can (nicely) correct me. (You can send an ask, DM me, or just respond directly to the post and i'll fix it as soon as I can)

If you have anything you want me to explain, feel free to ask/dm/tag me!

what is a 67 my sister keeps saying it and i do not understand please help

6-7, (aka the bane of my existence) is originally from the song "Doot Doot" by the rapper Skrilla. The song was used in edits of NBA player LaMelo Ball (example below the cut), commenting on how he is 6'7, yet moves like he is 6'1.

It's basically just a nonsensical phrase which derives its humor from it's idiocy

Yes! I need memes explained to me!

My grandchildren are always so mean to me when I ask them what stuff means on the internet!!

Sincerely,

Exactly!

Internet memes are strange and confusing, it's essential we have someone to explain them.

what does "start diggin in yo butt twin" mean??

What a way to start this off.

Okay! From what I can gather, it started off as a meme (below the cut) on a subreddit in 2019. In November of 2024, it resurfaced on Instagram and gained a ton of traction. It then evolved into several other memes (examples below), the first one I've seen that mentions "twin" was posted on Instagram in June of 2025, saying "I know you dig in yo butt twin" (Third one under cut). On July 4th, 2025, Tiktoker oe_ytv1 posted an edit of a SpongeBob SquarePants scene, in which a robotic SpongeBob says "Start digging in yo butt twin" (linked below).

It means something is annoying or someone is acting irrational, although it is frequently tagged on random posts.
