in hindsight it's really funny that people interpreted spamton demonizing tenna in the sweepstakes was his way of trying to absolve himself of responsibility (ie. cracking jokes about how we really let spamton convince us that tenna was an evil manipulative bastard when he was really just a sad wet dog) for causing his own downfall, because thanks to the newsletter, it seems like it's actually the other way around. sure, we know now that tenna isn't a malicious person, but looking back at every single jab he makes at spamton in chapter 3 with the knowledge that he was AWARE of the consequences for making spamton sign the contract, it turns out it's not just out of bitterness or envy - he was trying to convince us (and likely himself too) that spamton was a terrible person who ripped him off to deflect blame, because the alternative (accepting the truth that it was actually HIS own selfishness that drove spamton away) hurts. spamton was in fact telling the truth about tenna being the one who ruined his life the whole time (albeit his perspective is obviously still flawed) while tenna was the one lying about being ripped off. insane.

I just realised that I forgot to put decorations or plates on the table. Like, I called it a "dinner date" but it's the most barren table ever XD the sketch even had a small vase with flowers in it on the table but it all got lost somewhere along the drawing process. I'm leaving it as is because this somehow seems more in character for them than anything else
