I have genuinely believed that that just doesn't really happen because it never even happened once to me. However when I was saying how this doesn't really happen and I've never seen it happen, spouse said I was definitely seen as a goody two shoes and not the type of person who would have even been worth trying to do things to.

So onto my question, were you ever offered or pressured about these things? A yes or no are both perfectly fine if you don't really want to get into it but still want to answer.

SOOO sorry for not answering this in a timely manner, AM. I had a fic project that zapped 99% of my time and mental energy to complete it.

I've been offered a lot of times and pressured very little. I work in a big city, so there's no escaping it to the same degree, but I'm not the kind of person who caves when asked twice. When I was a teen, I had some friends try to get me to do a weed gummy, which I tried, and all it did was make me sleepy and crave beef jerky. Take it or leave it experience honestly lol.

I also can't do anything that's smokable because I only have one lung, and that would kill me very fast.

For the last few months, I have been working on a new project! This was something I wanted to write for a while, specifically for one friend who's been with me my entire fandom journey. @sunnyrosewritesstuff, you are an inspiration to me, and I'm so happy that I get to call you my friend.

I chose this fic to work on for the Wip roundup event hosted by @acorn-and-oakleaves, and in that event, I was chosen by the amazing @usuallysublimepenguin. I could not have asked for a better artist, and all the amazing art in the fic is theirs.

Bilbo returns to the mountain after two years away, settling affairs in The Shire. When Bilbo arrives in Erebor, much has changed, and there are more than a few new faces. A bad interaction with a guard lands him in hot water, and even after demanding to speak with the king, he finds himself on the other side of Erebors' law and a power-hungry guard.

Tales of Forges and First Meetings

Thorin is a traveling blacksmith, wandering the lands around Ered Luin for work when he finds his way to Hobbiton. Only expecting to find work, he instead finds a strange Hobbit deadset on inviting him for tea. What was meant to be a simple season working his trade turns into so much more.

no but rlly I love the idea that Thorin is just an entirely different person once he’s comfortable, safe and happy, not out on a quest seething in vengeful anger (*´-`)
