With Pix confirming that the upcoming dnd stream is only GIGGS related and not hermitcraft or minecraft, a discussion on tagging might be needed.
My suggestion is using these tags: Team Giggs, Giggs, Giggs dnd.
As of now it’s just a one shot, so I think tagging for both the player and character names might be a good shot, and then if they stream more then just tag the pc names unless it’s something player specific.
Eg fanart of a scene between Grian and Impulse’s character could just be tagged with their pc names and not Grian and ImpulseSV.
Eg a clip of Gem or Scar joking out of character could be tagged as Goodtimeswithscar and Geminitay with no tags of their character.
I’m not 100% certain on this, I’m going of critical role’s tagging system so if someone has a better idea let me know!
If they have a party name or make a name for a future streaming show, then that’s another tag people can use.
My other suggestion for tags that we shouldn’t use is mcyt and hermitcraft. Like I said, Pix said that this is a Giggs stream, it’s not going to be related to hermitcraft or Minecraft. Yes they are hermits, but this isn’t hermitcraft. It would be amazing to let this grow as its own thing, it doesn’t have to be connected to hermticraft just because the players are.
Now for ao3, this is probably gonna cause some strife with this suggestion. If fanfics are written, we don’t use the hermitcraft fandom tag.
Once again, it’s not related to hermitcraft or Minecraft, it’s dnd. In this case I suggestion using the fandom tags Dnd and maybe video blogging rpf.
“But they’re hermits!” Not here they’re not. As far as I’m aware, its five (maybe six) people playing dnd on twitch. I cannot stress this enough to keep the Giggs dnd streams out of the mcyt and smp tags.
Feel free to add on any of your suggestions.
