“You can’t…” his voice fades for just a moment as he swallows past the lump in his throat “…love.” The final word hits him a little too close to home a little too close to the space where he keeps his heart.
“You may keep him here forever, but you will always be separate.” And isn’t that the truth of it all? Isn’t that the truth.
