breasts: pleasingly archaic, like something a vampire would say

boobs: upbeat and forthright, perfect for casual discussion between girls

boobies: funny, light and joyful, perfect for romantic situations

rack: this word lacks appeal to me but it may be useful to butches

bosom: perfect for talking about clutching things, charmingly grandmaish

jugs: this one is yucky but if a girl says it i guess its okay

cans: this is too confusing and not cute. allow it to pass into mere history

tit: a boob that has endured hardship (e.g. "my tit...")

tits/titties: this should be said by women older than 50 in a room full of lingering blue smoke or it should be said by paris hilton on that show where she chooses one person to be her pet each week (not making this up)

"the girls": this one can sometimes confuse others unless you do a gesture to accompany it

knockers: should be used in the 1974 comedy young frankenstein directed by mel brooks
