in griffins dunne's memoir, he talks several times about his brother's struggles with mental illness throughout their lives and different episodes he's had and it sticks with me because he writes about this with such deep empathy and care and love which is just not something you see often and it makes me so emotional to think about.

when you have some take about a movie that you think is kind of a reach but then come to find out some nerd on jstor has had the same thought
