That’s what I ask myself every single day.

My mother the most loving, selfless person I know is now fighting for her life. She underwent surgery just days ago, and her condition is fragile. Doctors say she urgently needs treatment abroad, but we can’t afford it. We can barely manage food and basic medicine.

I’ve done everything I can. I’ve tried to be strong. But no matter how hard I fight, I can’t do this alone.

The war is growing more brutal by the day, The planes are raining down shells, burning, killing without mercy. Today, the Israeli army ordered us to evacuate our area immediately amid heavy bombing. Since this morning until now, they have killed 70 people, and my family and I barely survived. 💔

Most families have been displaced, but we do not have the money to escape to safer areas. The cost of transportation and displacement is extremely high, while what little we manage to gather is barely enough to keep us from starving amidst the siege, border closures, and insane price hikes. 😓

Genocide and occupation target all aspects of life, in addition to destroying life itself. The state of education and employment in Gaza is dire, with schools and universities being targeted for shelling, and internet connectivity very hard to come by.

Isnad (Arabic for "support" or "help") is an initiative that is providing 30 students (15 men and 15 women) with a place to study. The organiser, Mamoud (@ma7moudgaza2) has gotten reinforced cables installed to improve Wifi connectivity in the building.

This is an extremely important service for these students, especially as we're in the middle of finals season. These students need your help in order to be able to graduate, earn an income, and begin rebuilding their lives.

Isnad is soon expected to pay May's rent, and we are far short of our goal. The Chuffed campaign needs to reach $5,000 by April 30th!

I lost many family members as a result of the war on Gaza.

I have cancer and I cannot work. I was injured in the bombing of our family home two months ago.

We had a very beautiful house but unfortunately everything was destroyed.

I cannot support my family and my wife who is pregnant with my first child and is suffering from severe deficiency due to malnutrition and the high cost of living💔🥺

I now live with my wife, mother and sister in a very dilapidated and uninhabitable tent.
