Did everyone on Kamino have a crush on Shaak Ti?
Well, I wouldn’t say everyone on Kamino had a crush on Shaak Ti—but, yeah, she definitely left an impression. She had this calm, commanding presence that made her stand out, even among the Kaminoans, who weren’t exactly easy to impress. She was strong, focused, and fiercely kind. She always stood up for us. If you heard some troopers talking about her with a little more enthusiasm than usual, I wouldn’t be surprised.
I was too busy keeping my squad in line to think about stuff like that. Sure, she had a way about her that was hard to ignore, but, uh, admiration doesn’t mean… anything else. Anyway, most of us had bigger things to worry about than daydreaming.

I see a lot of people saying that there should have been more main character death in the finale, that it felt too cheesy to have everyone living their lives. I dont know why that is, why people need to see a certain number of bodies for a narrative to have weight. I feel shows like GoT and Walking Dead and their shock factor of no one being safe poisoned some people towards narratives where things can end a little more hopeful. But things ending hopefully doesn't make them bad or lesser. Half of the Fellowship didn't have to die to make the Lord of the Rings a worthwhile story.
I mean, Nala Se died. I know she isn't a "main character" but she was quite important.
(I hope Lama Su died in that explosion too, or was executed beforehand)
