2026-A Year in Review

I wanted to jump on real quick and wish you a happy new year as I am still imprisoned by an armsling; it makes typing quite the challenge. It is probably a good thing because, given the circumstances surrounding:

-ICE’s fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis, MN on January 7, 2026.

-ICE’s converging on a high school to arrest teachers and parents on January 8, 2026, which somehow meant the deployment of tear gas on students.

-The Department of Homeland Security engaging in gaslighting to excuse the actions taken by ICE agents in both instances.

-J.D. Vance’s absurd assertion that the ICE agent involved in shooting Ms. Good was “protected by absolute immunity” .

-The launching of a propaganda campaign on the White House website stating that Democrats were behind the January 6, 2021 insurrection.

-The legalities surrounding the events involving Venezuela.

We are nine days into 2026, and the Trump administration and its Gestapo have propelled us into a state of more chaos and confusion as that is where gaslighting thrives. Pay attention to the narratives being spun around each situation.

We have reached the point in the story of gaslighting where logic, reason, and truth have been abandoned in favor of complete and utter bullshit. It is at this point where the narratives surrounding the chaos and confusion must be sown in such a way that people begin doubting what constitutes as “evidence” so that the virtue of “innocent until proven guilty” becomes distorted to mean “innocent because I said so.”

Never in American history has it become more critical to capture the chaos and confusion on video to share with the masses. Not only do the videos serve as actual evidence (in the traditional sense), they work to counter the false narratives being constructed in each situation as well as reinforce what you hear, see, and accept as truth, thus quelling the doubt arising out of the false narratives.

We can do this, America. Remember, we are far stronger than the forces working against us, but we cannot operate from a place of hate. As hard as it may be, (and it is HARD, people. Trust me, I KNOW), you must fight the temptation to hate those involved, whether directly or through silent acquiescence.

Focus on the love of country, of the values YOU know to be true, the love of self and others, and on the steadfast belief that future generations experience the same level of freedom we have experienced in our lifetime.

As always, remember, DO NOT REACT-RESPOND!

And pray.

Pray that the rampant corruption on display at the macro and micro levels will soon be quelled. Pray for the strength, the will, and pure determination required to fight in a psychological war we never asked to join. Our efforts will be reflected in our ability to respond versus reacting, by remaining calm in the face of adversity, and by engaging in our daily activities without the anger, resentment, and hate gaslighting perpetuates. Pray, also, that members of Congress will remember that the structure connecting their neck to their ass is called a backbone, and now would be a really good time to use it.

Hang in there, America. We’ve got this!
