this blog is a collection of things I love, mostly Ghost right now. I work in IT so sometimes I will talk about that here.

I write either on my phone between phone calls at work or at very odd hours on the weekends/during the weekdays so if anything looks wonky just let me know and I'll fix it! I do a read over of my work before posting it but sometimes things happen haha.

I do accept commissions and I also have a ko-fi :)

I also accept prompts! I'm comfortable writing most things, but there are a few exceptions. Age regression, character death and serious illness being the top 3 I can think of right now. If you're not sure, just ask! :)

I try to warn for everything that I can, but sometimes, when it comes to longer fic, I don't want to necessarily spoil things though I will try my best to warn for anything triggering. Hey so my dog broke his ass on christmas eve and now I need to raise money to fix it for him

He decided to run into traffic to see another dog and did the tango with a ute, and now he's got a fractured pelvis so his hip doesn't sit in the socket right (he also lacerated his leg but that's doing good and needs no more surge)

The ortho vet gave me the quote of 2.5k-2.8k nzd, and I've managed to raise about 1.1k so far

I use 2FA on every website I log into, and it didn't ask for any details when I took the survey, but I still don't trust that thing at all. One can never be too safe.

#reblogging this one too as a PSA#this is something we see a WHOLE LOT at work i.e misinformation about how phishing works and how people get “hacked” etc#a lot of our residential customers (bc we service just regular every day people too not just businesses) ask us these questions#how to tell if something is phishing how to tell if something is bad#we all know what to look for to help these people (our customer base is mostly older individuals who are more likely to fall prey to scams)#but we're starting to see a huge uptick in younger generations falling prey to them too#so things like this—the second I heard someone mention that they heard it may be phishing or a way to swipe creds I knew something was sus#and I needed to do my due diligence to get the word out that the link is perfectly harmless and not swiping your creds#phishing is a serious and dangerous thing that people should be aware of yes but please do research into things#esp when the source post is a single discord screenshot#i realize I didn't include links in my post but if you go to the websites I mentioned and enter the URLs then you will get the same results#anyway I think the only reason we don't have more younger people ask us (at my job) to look into questionable emails is because#there's a stigma around asking for help with technology or something or asking for computer help or not wanting to look stupid#I can't vouch for all computer guys but at least me if you have questions I will generally answer to my best ability#and then poll the class (my boss and coworker) if I don't know#anyway that's my PSA#thank you for this extra info prev#please spread this version of the post around
