Sen7inel is generally suspicious of unexpected romantic gestures. Her brain will go on the defense and cycle through questions like ‘what do they want?’, ‘why me?’, ‘why now?’. It’s not a reflection of the romancer but rather a survival mechanism she’s developed to guard against being taken advantage of or controlled.

Expected romantic gestures will bypass her defenses more easily. She’ll still have moments of questioning but it will come more from an internal, self-doubt/poor self-view place rather than an external threat view. Consistency (not grand gestures) will quiet those intrusive thoughts over time.

💚 = Does your muse get jealous easy? 

It’s context-dependent. If it’s a more FWB, less courting situation, Sen is less likely to become jealous unless someone really tries to push her buttons. But if things become more serious (and assuming it’s not an agreed upon, open or poly relationship), she can become territorial. That jealousy is rarely aimed at her partner, however, and is typically no more than a snide or passive aggressive comment. Instead, she will aim it at the offender if she feels genuinely threatened. Cyber-stalking and harassment, anonymous threats via text to email, sometimes even going as far as to spread slander amongst the offenders friends or workplace. The ultimate goal is to chase them off so they leave her partner alone.

💜 = Does your muse date others based on their appearance or personality, or both? 

More so personality. Sen has basic expectations around appearance (general upkeep as an example), but give her a personality that can keep up with her and it’ll snag her interest pretty hard. She needs someone who can engage with her on a level that matches her energy, even if that energy is about something different than her expertise.

The closest thing to heartbreak came in Sen’s early 20s, with Irina (aka Blackr00t). Sen7inel naively believed (because she had no reference point for healthy intimacy) that what they had was mutual respect layered over mentorship, desire, and shared intellect. However, when Irina tried to take Sen back to Russia after Irina’s US operation had been exposed and under the guise of protection, it shattered that belief. The betrayal was as emotional as it was existential. It hit one of Sen’s long-standing fear: even affection can be twisted into control. Their departure was explosive. Other than the occasional run in on the darknet, they haven’t spoken since.

All that said, Sen7inel doesn’t talk about it as heartbreak. She’d call it a betrayal and a hard lesson learned. The rest stays buried.
