Goetia and Sins may not find him attractive, but the others? Hellhounds? Imps? Sex demons? Sinners? It’s like dangling candy. A single dad damaged by the woes of life who’s attractive and intelligent? Socially awkward but endearing? A freak in the sheets and someone you can take home to your mother?

I’ve never actually interacted with a genuine Stolas anti until now and holy shit ya’ll weren’t kidding! They’re so dumb and illogical it’s mind blowing!

Stolas unthinkingly treats imps in demeaning ways and often patronises Blitz, absolutely. People who aren't deliberately malicious can still be *le gasp* problematic or act on ingrained prejudicial beliefs, and someone who's never thought twice about their place in the world and in relation to others is bound to say things or behave in ways that reflect their privilege and their environment (that would be the point of character development. btw)

There should still be nothing stopping you from divining that back at Ozzie's Stolas tried to walk away and hid his face out of shame not because he was seen with Blitz, but because he was publicly accused of abandoning his family. "You sold your life for a tryst", literally how much more obvious do you want it to be...... sorry that the guy who put up with domestic abuse and public humiliation for years because he thought that he could keep his family together if he tried hard enough avoided conflict when someone shamed him in front of a crowd for failing at his self-imposed objective ig. Also there's a pretty fucking substantial difference between being casually out with someone or drawing attention to something by yourself (see: Stolas being publicly affectionate towards Blitz during the harvest moon festival) and having someone singling you out and talking about your business in front of a bunch of people in a manner that comes across as mocking, but what do I know

And re: conflict, the way he did get up to seemingly defend Blitz before Asmodeus got on his case... I'm gonna bite you all, put some respect on his name !!!

Methinks some people want to hate Stolas so much that light blinds their eyes and white noise fills their ears whenever Blitz interacts with a demon that's above him in station because how you can get to "Blitz holds a lot of understandable and justifiable anger for Hell's hierarchy" but not follow up on that with "even so, or maybe because of it, he doesn't give a fuck about fearing or respecting royal demons" is beyond me, because you'll see them going on and on about how his whole livelihood was dependent on Stolas and how he was forced to make him happy and go along with his wishes etc etc etc, and then you'll pull up the actual episodes and see Blitz telling Stolas to shut the fuck up or fuck off every two interactions that they have. Like with UC showing that he very easily could have found a way to go to Earth by himself and FM & AT making it very clear that the grimoire was an excuse for him as much as it was for Stolas just take the L and go

Blitz being like a rabid dog when he’s angry is so funny to me when placed next to Stolas because if Blitz ever starts rampaging on Stolas’ behalf, Stolas can just…*scoop*

Blitz: “Who the fuck are you calling an ‘irritating bird brain’ I’ll slaughter you and your whole family! I’ll destroy your shoes! I’ll eat all your peanut butter! I’ll-!!”

Stolas would let Blitz do whatever the fuck he wants with Stella and Andrealphus though.
