“I… should get back to work before my boss’s head explodes.” He ended up finally saying. Billy blinked and the look was gone, the smile back in its full dangerous glory. “Yeah, I can feel the heat of his glare on my back.” He smirked as he straightened, looking at his overcoat for a moment before handing it out to Peter. “Here. You need this more than I do today.” Peter glanced at Billy’s outstretched hand and back at him, eyes wide with surprise. “What? No, I can’t. It’s cold out. What’re you gonna do without it, freeze?” Billy furrowed his eyebrows, amused. “It’s not a magic overcoat, Peter. I’m gonna be fine.” Peter rolled his eyes at his mocking tone and took the piece of clothing. “Remember to button up, conceal all the yellow.” Billy said as he took a step back to leave. He turned around then and began walking toward the door, only to pause mid way and turn on his heel, “Shall we continue with your interview tomorrow evening? I’ll text you the address.” His voice was loud now that he was mostly closer to the exit, which caused all the other people in the office to look up. Peter blushed and slid down his chair while giving Billy the thumbs up. He absolutely did not stare as the man smiled and left.

Little snippet from chapter 6 of my peter parker/billy russo au fic of all the things I've seen
It was with a rapidly healing bruised rib sitting on the roof of a tall building that Peter finally found the time to check his phone. It had a new crack on it but at least it wasn’t broken given the beating he had taken an hour ago. He unlocked the phone and there it was, Billy’s response that had come almost immediately after his initial text. Peter groaned underneath the mask. It was definitely too late to join Billy now. Not that he wanted to. And not that he could anyway, having a bruised rib and all. He could just imagine Billy saying the exact following words to him if he saw Peter limping into some bar favoring his right side: “Wow Peter. Catching bullets by day and getting into fights by night. Have issues, do you?” Wincing as the sudden movement strained a muscle in his shoulder, he began typing. Peter: guessing it’s too late to reply and take a rain check? Again, it didn’t take long for Billy to answer. Why was he awake? Billy: Never too late… well maybe a little Peter: I’m really sorry. only now had the time to check my phone. Billy: Burning the midnight oil? Peter: Someone has to Billy: I didn’t know being a journalist needed so much vigilance. It would if Peter cared more about being one. Peter: Oh it definitely does not. I was up studying. A little white lie never hurt anyone. Billy: That makes sense. Peter: How so? Billy: You seem too smart to not be in school. Oh. Peter: Smart is not how I would define myself after the two times we met. Billy: How would you describe yourself then? Peter: … embarrassing? Billy: I thought it was charming actually. Peter: You are too kind. Billy: I’m not. Peter: You must be lying then. Billy: You're a very suspicious young man, aren't you?

Look. Reading fanfiction isnt bad but it's just.
Addictive? Taking up your sweet sweet time and sucking it in like (tastes like codeine dripping on me---- feel like dracula the way I scare you, cry for help but I can't hear you, now you're part of my blood omen, getting high on SEROTONIN)
is cool and goodie and great, but if you ever have actual procrastination issues or a bad sleep schedule ...... please take a bit of a break?
it's alright to like fanfiction but once again. it is addictive.
ive found myself one too many times not sleeping through the nights, ive found myself way too many times blowing off the afternoon not doing what I needed to cause I picked up a 100k fic and decided to binge-read it (i had no controlll)
I'm reallyyy sorry you had to go through all that, really shows that addiction is awful in whatever form, no matter how much we joke about it when it comes to being addicted to reading fanfics.
But what I think is that this one is not like being addicted to cocaine or sth, which is just always bad. It's more like when you're taking Xanax, too much and bam, you're addicted. A controlled dose when necessary though, is actually helpful. But then, it depends on the person taking it too right?
Did not need this double reminder of pain on those last episodes
Just finished season eight and I really don't understand why the thing that happened had to happen
Arthur was exactly where he had left him.
He placed a hand on the late king’s cheek, unable to stop crying, and touched their foreheads together.
“Ic bisæc ðu scortwyrplic, Arthur.” He whispered into the space between their lips.
As the boat set off on the lake, Merlin broke down anew, not lighting the woods on fire.
He touched the water gently and asked the lady of the lake to look after his king until he was back.
Just casually tortured myself by rewatching the last episode of Merlin so that I could write THIS.
I don't even know why, other than maybe I just wanted Merlin and Arthur to talk more in the finale and then go absolutely berserk with canon later.

Is there a Merthur fanfic where there’s some evil person who took on Arthur’s form and the real Arthur is kidnapped somewhere and Merlin finding out the imposter took on Arthur’s form and interrogate them to find where the real prince Arthur is being held at

OK I NEED HELP!
I'm currently on episode/chapter 58 of omniscient reader's viewpoint (where dokja is planting false information to beat the tyrant king) and I really need someone to tell me that yoo joonghyuk hasn't just disappeared again. I mean until this point I can count the interactions between kim dokja and yoo joonghyuk ON ONE HAND and it's bugging me.
Please tell me he is gonna stick around and stay with dokja and his company this time.
