That day you realized you can just beat the shit out of people until they pass out or die.

I agree. Being a jjk fan is truly hell because 1. Fanabase 2. Gege, as much as I love and hate him.

I think the thing about Gege is, he's also painfully aware of his messy way of writing and if you analyze jjk hard enough you can actually see the plot points or the aspects he wanted to developed further but got lost in the journey.

I mourn how little we got of heian era everyday. Now that doesn't mean more of Sukuna but other heian sorcerers in general because you can see how much of heian era and heian era politics, social injustices he carved into the story. Like even the subtle thing you notice in jjk or jujutsu sorcery can trace back to the heian era and culture ( though even if he did expanded it I wonder a fandom who gives little depth and work to understand the story even appreciate it). It's such a shame honestly 😭 I know he'll probably end jjk once and for all after modulo but man I wish for a little more of heian era.

There were new novels coming out and ig heian era something will be one of them but I'd have preferred Gege writing it.

the thing with gege is that he’s insanely good at replicating stuff he himself is interested in, often times in a way that is bordering on copying, yet is still different and intriguing enough that it doesn’t bother you. downside to this is that he doesn’t put enough thought into proper connections and conclusions.

I’d love to have a light novel about the heian lore (I think it’s the perfect medium for it) and wouldn’t mind if they’re written by ballad kitaguni again (the writer, who worked with gege on the past JJK LN’s). They did a good job together.

Uraume in van Gogh's "Sorrowing Old Man (At Eternity's Gate)"

This is for all the Uraume fans that of course did not get a version of them in the new JJK credits. As a HUGE traditional art fan, I find this to be an unimaginable travesty. The piece itself isn't very Uraume-esque, but "At Eternity's Gate" truly spoke to me since they literally died twice (in the Heian era and in the modern era). I also liked the pose of the old man, who is clearly unhappy and distressed, which I found to be fitting for Uraume, considering their lore is so tragic.

Anyway, hope you all like it! Done in acrylic on a 5x7 canvas.
