Russian based jewellery designer Viktoria Soloveva creates Victorian era inspired steampunk jewellery. Creative, beautiful and elaborate, the designer’s collection of numerous pendants, rings, watches and bracelets set a standard for fashion on their own. In an interview to Bored Panda, Soloveva relates her experiences with working on this new “steampunk” concept, “I was inspired by searching new possibilities for a hobby that could be a small business that would support me. I saw some of the jewellery that was created already and thought - I could make better! The most difficult part is to keep going when it’s off season time. But it pays off in the end. I like when my work is appreciated it inspires me to make more intricate and more unique things.“
The small mechanical joints and levers in her accessories are adorned by bright jewels, perfect for those who have a flair for theatrical statement jewellery and are inspired by steampunk pop culture like Soloveva herself.
