It was important to only use the "doctors exercising their power to commit murder" trope once (i mean I guess House killed that old doctor but still) but there were really so many people that deserved to get slimed dude I'm on s7e21 and Thirteen should've said fuck it we're reusing story beats and killed that clown, the lady's like "my family judges me for making bombs even though they work on Wall Street ha ha ha what juxtaposition!" Well guess what bro Thirteen's beliefs contain no such contradictions because she is literally a fucking doctor
Cameron is wrong about House being the one who killed Dibala but I have to love any character that is able to escape from his sphere of influence. Say literally whatever you want about the morals or courage or whatever when it comes to the other fellows but at the end of the day Cameron and Kutner were the only ones who fully exercised their right to get up and leave. By different means, obviously, but they were the only ones that managed to (mostly) break away for good.
I do love the fact that this show refuses to give ANY grace to "do your own research, alternative medicine" type characters lol. Every time a patient comes in who believes their online research rivals the knowledge imparted through years of medical school they're immediately proven wrong and basically almost always die in a way reminiscient of the wrath of God
I understand it's a good plot device, reconnecting with Wilson and all, but I HATE HATE HATE the way the fellows and Foreman force themselves into House's family affairs! He has every right to not go to his abusive dad's funeral and they dangle his best friend in front of his face to force him to do it. I hate the notion of family deserving respect or love just because they're family and the show tries to claim the opposite constantly.
Also I'm not really sure what the moral of s5e1 is supposed to be. Thirteen is entirely correct to lecture this downer ass patient about her belief that she was just born a doormat and it seems like the episode is written to make you think Thirteen is in the wrong. If you disagree that Foreman should be the one with the right to blow up the hospital at least agree that Thirteen should be able to let off a couple shots
I'm an Amber fan but I have to say if I was Thirteen I would also be slightly hesitant to save her life. I'll keep it a stack I would probably not be willing to dedicate the slightest bit of effort to keeping her alive, I understand that her character is meant to be competitive and willing to win at all costs, but the way she treated Thirteen was so unimaginably cruel I wouldn't be mad if she just Dibala'd her right there in the clean room tbh
