just reached hunter's march again in my second playthrough. i HAVE to change my url to hunter's march right now hold on

far-fields -> hunters-march

ALSO you should probably unfollow me if you're avoiding spoilers bc im really bad at tagging them!!!!1

also also i might reblog lacenet posts in which case i point to the sign:

i think "lace is genuinely a child" and "lace is not a child and that is just the role forced on her by her mother" are both valid readings of the character but if i reblog lacenet it falls under the second option

why does the threefold melody even exist if they don't want anyone to get it. why does it actually unlock the elevator if they don't want anyone to use it

do we even know that phantom was abandoned by grand mother silk, and it's not that they ran away?

The fact that transfem hornet hasn't exploded in popularity makes me sad. Then again, I recently saw a video titled "Hornet is trans-coded?!" With a sad emoji and a man facepalming on the thumbnail, so maybe I dont want the general fandom to come near the headcanon

before i finished silksong i got a video in my recommended called "Gamers are TIRED of the Silksong trans allegory discourse..." and the thumbnail was hornet porn censored with a trans flag where her penis would be. as much as that video clearly sucked it did make me excited that there might be a trans allegory in the game. but i didn't find anything like that

i don't actually know what people find trans-coded about hornet though i'd like to hear about this. i just like the headcanon because i think its awesome to headcanon women as trans

it always bothered me that people call anything with fancy runes on it a seal of binding. we don't know that all of those things are seals of binding. the only thing we know is called that is the seal that binded the hollow knight. it's silly to assume that name just applies to all runes.

i know binded isnt a word but it makes my sentence work better

i don't really think the citadel was pulling silk from GMS' cocoon, because if they just had a free infinite silk source right there they were using, why would they be so desperate to scrounge up and reuse every last bit of silk they use. why would they be cremating every body to retrieve the injected silk, and completely transform greymoor into a silk-recollection facility to retrieve every little scrap of silk that falls out of the citadel.
