byler is genuinally one of my favourite fandoms because never in my life have i seen a group of people so perseverant. we got queerbaited, had a massive communal crashout over it, managed to convince ourselves two days after that there was 2hrs of missing footage, found evidence, got a petition which got over 200,000 signatures, only to find out it wasn't true, then convinced ourselves AGAIN that byler would be canon in the finale, got queerbaited a second time (in under a week), then manage to convince ourselves that there's some massive plot twist where the finale isnt the finale and there's an entire other episode (with evidence) and are now convinced that we're going to get ANOTHER finale??? genuinally we're all going crazy. but we're going crazy together <333

i headcanon that when mike and will were lil lil kids that sometimes mike would come over when lonnie was there. i think that one time he walked in and caught lonnie yelling at a teary-eyed will, and that made baby mike so full of anger that he called lonnie various words he learned on the playground. this caught lonnie so off-guard that mike took the opportunity to get will away from there and try to make him feel better like "are you ok?" "that new picture you drew is really really cool" "let's play d and d just the two of us"
