I've been thinking alot about how in the beginning of 3 handler says that he almost "called it quits" "but if you're here, i'm here." Do you think if we/phoenix defected/ left the agency he'd follow?? I think he would. He loves us he just can't/won't say it

Phoenix is such a self-sacrificing character, and the trope of them coming back over and over again is so played up, I'm afraid whenever Schell decides to end the series they're going to "let the Phoenix rest" so to speak. 😭

John Juniper is in that sweet spot where he's older than Phoenix but younger than Reginald.

Which is why I'm fine with shipping both pairings.

I forgot if it's actively or directly stated but if the EOD's from the United States, it would make the most sense.

i have a lot of hcs about john juniper in my head that i will never share bc it is just concept after concept that makes him more, perhaps too much of a horrible person (they’re vaugely realistic in my head, i mean—he was gonna nuke the world for fun/fame, kidnapped world leaders so he prolly doesn’t actually care about other people all that much)

There should be a IEYTD fan game where you are in the perspective of Reginald Crane back when he was a field agent. I think it would be an interesting idea because you get to learn about Reginald's past experiences at The Agency.

they’re promoting the series so hard because they want there to be as many players for 3 as there were for 1 but they’re never gonna get there. the only thing the post-credits “IEYTD will return” from 3 tells us is that the team wants to do another one, not that they have or will be greenlit to do so. and at the rate things are going i don’t think they’re ever going to be. every time someone mentions it in the discord or one of their socials the response is “we haven’t confirmed anything / we’re focusing on increasing players for IEYTD 3”. The game isn’t in development, it does not exist. “But they rehired Handler’s VA to do the voice lines for the trilogy bundle trailer, they wouldn’t rehire a VA to JUST do a trailer—” Jared Mason already works at Schell, all they probably had to do was drag him away from his desk for an hour

I want it to be real so badly, i got into this fandom after 3 came out and would love to be there for a new instalment in a series ive come to love so dearly, but it is never going to happen. atp i have lost all hope.
