Ponyboy was supposed to be a twin, but he ate his future sibling in the womb

One hospital visit was "Oh Mrs. Curtis! You're having twins!" And they were very very scared. but happy. but scared

Then the very next hospital visit was "Oh! Um. Mrs. Curtis... One baby....! Yay....!"

aka, ponyboy is from the ripe old year of today and watched grease at one of the last drive ins in the south with Soda, became obsessed with the 60s greaser vibe, read other realistic fictions from the 60s, became super knowledgeable and created the entire story from his friends. but like dramatized everything

Darry: 6'2

Soda: 5'10

Pony: 5'7

Johnny: 5'6 (hes a late bloomer trust 😇 he wouldve shot up to at least 5'11 if he hadn't died)

Steve: 5'9

Two-Bit: 6'0

Dally: 6'1 (he rounds himself up to 6'2 bc he's technically 6'1 and a half)

Currently watching Nightmare Before Christmas because spooky season is my favorite and had this thought

Modern ponyboy is a Tim Burton FREAK OH MY GOD
