My favourite genre of spencer reid is when he's in the background of a shot being silly. I love him.

Now and again I yearn for later seasons Spencer (because he’s so teddy bear with that halo of curls and facial hair) but I specifically yearn for him when the writers seemed to know him better and when he had the better dynamic with the early seasons cast (for example Hotch and Morgan) . Also can you IMAGINE later seasons Spencer Reid and Elle Greenaway?! That would have been crazy awesome to see.

There’s a softness I see that I don’t think many people view when they think of later seasons Spencer (I mean, even writers didn’t really see him this way anymore - given he started saying things like “the second I see his face I am going to kill him” in reference to Scratch)

In simple terms it would have been great to see Spencer with pre-prison personality (as his post prison-ness wasn’t very well written in my opinion, or I think people perceive him wrongly.) with post-prison looks - because he looks so cuddly for goodness sakes!!!!

I love all the Spencers (but have a slight bias towards early seasons) but (how many times can I say ‘but’) I think it would have been cool to see him older with the OG team.

The work on my upcoming fic is slow and steady - since the new school term started I've just been getting back into the swing of everything again, and I don't want to rush the writing process but I can assure you it is underway :)

The aftermath of Revelations writing had indeed begun (probs gonna read what I've written tomorrow and think it's meh but that's the beauty of something that is a work in progress)

Oh allie :((( (is first name basis cool LOL) thank you so much!! I have to say your love and interaction on tumblr (and the fact that I don't feel shy to also interact with you) means so much to me!! It keeps me posting!!!

I suppose my random rambles come from a place of not having many people to tell these random things to in real life, so I find it helpful to have a quick (and mostly so far judgement free) outlet.

And thank you for reassuring me that at least someone enjoys reading my rambles (to be fair, it wouldn't matter if no one did, but the fact that someone is, is so lovely.)
