punishing myself by thinking about what it could’ve been
Do you ever write out a multi-paragraph rebuttal to something and then think "actually I do not want to get involved in this" and close it
this is so healthy tho. you get to put your thoughts to words and then you light them on metaphorical fire. cleansing.
Oscar said he wants to win the last races and the last two races and that he’s had good pace even if results haven’t panned out (I’m gonna ignore everything else depressing he said that interview) 😛😛😛😛😛💕💕💕 can’t wait for his triple P1s including sprint
please please please let this be a manifestation and not a curse 😭🙏

Looking through my old art files and found this little guy I did as part of a f1 x peanuts series I did on twitter
F1/Motorsport Reading List
Here is a compilation of almost everything I've read about F1, mostly academic articles and essays. The categories aren't exact since there's a lot of overlap, and a few things are listed in multiple places. Starred items are those I personally found most interesting, dashed ones I'm somewhat dubious of. I've included links to excerpts that I've previously posted, and you can also check out my f1 scholarship tag. I've also listed some places where most of these readings can be found, but if anyone is having trouble finding or accessing anything, just message me and I can send them to you. I plan to keep updating this as I read more, and if you have any recommendations, please let me know!
george likes toto because toto is funny and witty and while he makes george feel grown up he also treats him with just enough paternal condescension to turn him into putty. he's been conditioned to seek out any reward toto gives out - and toto gives rewards for winning. george loves winning so this is a pretty easy transaction
toto likes george because he's good at his job and toto likes competent people and because george is really responsive to feedback. on a more personal level he likes george because he reminds him of his younger self and because george is easy on the eyes.
of all the drivers he's worked with toto always prefers the winners - but he still likes george the most. george knows this. toto likes him. toto is attracted to him.
here lies the tragedy: this doesn't change anything. george might have toto's personal favor but he will never put him before the business. toto respects george as a driver but not enough to commit to him and he would still gamble george's career away to get the perfect driver instead.
