The worldviews of the characters depicted by me do not represent my own stance.

Ought to write a essay on Shakespearean tragedy but after deliberateness wrote sth about why the whole Booth’s assassination is mimic desire to the model of Shakespearean play + narcissism +self destruction

-just for fun

Shit I had to get to work

i get why it's thematically appropriate and i think it's a good choice but i do find it funny how booth and oswald both got completely fabricated suicidal tendencies that were not present in real life afaik. the adaptational killing yourself brothers

The Chess revival is a godforsaken mistake. I know it's not that serious, but the social media accounts' shameless queerbaiting (when the revival itself is the straightest possible version of an already not queer show) is just awful. It makes me really really mad, and it's a very transparent attempt to capitalize and get the youth interested. I think often claims of queerbaiting are overstated, but I'd be hard pressed to figure out what the Chess socials are doing otherwise. Queer-pointing-and-laughing?

-Someone handing the phony a Tony Award!

You all know that at the 58th Tony Awards the actors of Booth and Guiteau got nominated and the actor of Booth won. Yet-

I can't remember where I saw the interview, but Mario Cantone(Byck) recalled that on the night of the Tony Awards he said to Michael Cerveris(Booth) and Denis O’Hare(Guiteau), "I don't care who among you wins this award, but you'd better bring the fucking prize back"

I mean……. How can it be so IN CHARACTER lol😬and it's kinda mysterious that the actor who played an actor extremely eager for fame ended up winning a Tony Award……
