I really love the way Cynthia's acting choices basically characterize Elphaba as a bisexual woman who is painfully unaware of her sapphism because she's been living in survival mode since her mother died and never had the time and space to explore her sexuality. Like I truly believe this version of Elphie is gonna wake up in a cold sweat at 2 am three years post-canon as she's hit with the full force of the romantic subtext of every interaction she's ever had with Glinda.

This makes sense! I learned from a doc that if you have gas pain or nausea, you turn on your left side to make it easier for your stomach to send stuff through. The goal in turning left is to NOT absorb, but to release.

Turning on your right can make nausea/gas pain worse because it has to fight gravity to exit your stomach/body. So, yeah, lying on your right would make things absorb faster because it's going into the stomach lining, which is the point.
