I genuinely feel like the only people who are like “My parents shouldn’t have gotten divorced, it’s so sad my parents got divorced.” are people who’s parents divorced before they gained sentience. Practically everyone who has parents who divorced when they were old enough to have known the dynamic between their parents is like “Oh, thank God they finally divorced.” like, maybe you end up with shitty stepparents or your parents have coparenting drama but most children of divorce have the ability to recognize that their parents shouldn’t have stayed together.

Are they like..... Yknow.... [Goes to do a hand gesture but forgets I'm a wizard and I accidentally cast Lv50 lightning bolt]
no i didn’t skip that song because i don’t like it, i skipped it because i don’t have the emotional stability to listen to it now
I once saw someone describe Pearleo/moonrot as a new ship, how dare… oh you terrible fiend! You’ve wounded me!
Jk jk
Nah, jokes aside the ship has been around since last life and most certainly since double life, you all just didn’t see it. Hell I was there in 2024 being an artist for a ship zine of Cleo and Pearl, it is most certainly not a “new” ship.
This only came up in conversation as vampires smp sky rocketed the ship which I absolutely love and adore this boost for the ship. Yet, to say it’s new is an understatement.
But yeah, it’s not new, it’s been around for a while that it has its own zine way before other ships got their own zines. Even before the GemPearl zine too, just to give you an idea :3c
Yeah it was my first ship that I got truly invested in other than Scarian. It's been a thing for a long, long time. Just hasn't been as popular as other ships. Whether that's because f/f is less popular in general or because I got into it from Last Life (which is widely considered to be the most hated season) I'm not sure.
A series of events:
1. I put in an Annual Leave request form almost 3 weeks ago and my boss has not approved it yet
2. I went into my office today and replaced every single writing utensil with crayons in preparation for April Fools Day on Monday
3. Whilst searching for pens to remove, I found my unsigned Annual Leave form in my boss’s drawer
4. I placed my unsigned Annual Leave form in a photo frame and put it on his desk
5. The frame I used was from a photo of his kids that I deemed less important than my Leave form
6. My boss sometimes goes into the office on Saturdays to work
7.
Happy 2 year anniversary to the post that my old boss allegedly now has framed in his office, next to the recovered photo of his children.
