James, Sirius, Marlene and Barty have a group chat called ‘I pissed off my partner again’ where they try to figure out what they’ve done to annoy their significant other and how to make it up to them… the advice given in the group always makes things worse

they should invent a bus that never gets stuck in traffic because it's on its own path separated from the roads. and then chain multiple of them together and put it on rails. has anyone had this idea before.

ok hear me out you’d think Barty would have the strangest nicknames for Evan (see: dickhead, bitch, loser). but his nicknames are actually so sweet?? and it’s like you see this six foot lanky intimidating guy with a bunch of tattoos calling his slightly shorter, more intimidating bf with a major case of rbf things like “angel” “mio bello” “sweetheart” “rosie” “love” etc etc. and then Evan’s nicknames for Barty are also sweet like “bee” “bats” “baby” etc etc.

quick study of this 1988 doc martens ad

Barty and Regulus as exes. Barty and regulus who tried dating but it not working out because every time they try to kiss they end up laughing, especially Barty. Regulus breaking up with Barty because clearly it’s not working out romantically. Barty agreeing even tho he was in love with regulus but also conflicted if he really was because even tho it didn’t work out between regulus and him, it gave him hope with Evan, that he could love him even without the physical aspect, because Evan is asexual and if he could love regulus then he could love Evan too.

Both Evan and Barty asking regulus whether it’s okay for them to like the other, and then asking him together whether he is fine with them dating even though their friend group makes jokes of Barty and Regulus’s relationship. Regulus of course saying that he is fine with it and even going as far as baking a cake in both their favourite flavours saying “Fucking finally” in fancy cursive.

Barty and Regulus reminiscing about their relationship after they both feel stable realising they were both in horrible states at the time. Regulus, with Sirius running away, contemplating committing, Barty, coming out as bi to his parents to receive horrible backlash from his father, pushing him to more and more stupid things teetering on self destruction. The two of them being the only ones to get through to the other.

Them realising now after they are finally happy that they didn’t get together spontaneously but because they needed each other, they needed someone who didn’t look at them with pity or empathy, Barty needed someone to slap him out of it but also bandage his wounds, Regulus needed someone who would use petty tactics like showing him that him being hurt, hurts someone he cares about too, bc otherwise he wouldn’t care what happens to him.

Barty and Regulus who realise this only to end up laughing and making jokes about how like lengthening skirts being a sign of recession their increasing interest in one another is a sign of recession too just instead of the economy it’s their mental health. Barty and Regulus who will always need each other.
