Hi, I'm Rose, an illustrator in the PNW. I am a story artist and illustrator for animation. animals, clouds, plants liminality, no gravity.

After several years of dormancy, I have put over 10 years of my illustrations back on Etsy. There's a sweeping range of fanart, original art, landscape, animal art, and more. I print & ship everything myself as I demand the highest quality product possible. Go look & favorite stuff! Follow me, and watch my shop as I continue to stock never-before sold works!

A Star is Born

Long ago, The conscious void seeded a million stars into existence. Today, one of them awakes into the loving arms of unknowable nothingness. He's waited an age to hold her, adoring.

But looking outward, into his mirrored visage, she can only see herself. And she wonders if she's awakened alone.

hey so like

hi, you. yeah im talking to you. You like my stuff from time to time and reblog once and a while, and I always recognize you in my notes. we’ve never talked, maybe you dont like to say much or you’re nervous or something. it’s okay, whatever it is.

I see you. you mean a lot to me. sometimes when I’m having a hard day, I’ll notice your name once again in my notifs and it makes me smile. im not kidding.

I don’t care if you’re a “ghost” follower or you send me asks all the time. i see you and I love you so much, genuinely and truly. you are really important to me.

thank you. thank you for being there. <3

Nothing we do "amounts" to anything, any more than building a sand castle amounts to more than piled sand. The physicalist view that worth is in the atoms is easily eroded by time.

All our doing has inherent value from our having done it. So start one thousand sand castles, the sand is asking to be our play partner. And that play we have together, the beach and i, is the same joy the water takes in washing the shore afresh for new games.

We can never add up laughter like linear trinkets of success—its value is instant and infinite.
