Mods: Ummm, I guess the best answer that question would be: We aren't technically a rp blog 🤷‍♀️. We're certainly an event blog that uses rp to engage with our participants but we don't rp for the sake of it (if that makes sense). We won't like, ignore your asks or anything if they don't pertain to our event but we'll probably try to bring it back to the event in some way.

Example: Question - "Lex, are you in love with Superman?" Response - "Love? Well, I certainly do love to see him in pain. You see that's why I've gathered you all here because we all share that same type of love for Superman." ~Lex

So yeah, we plan to keep asks up year round (because sometimes people have event questions during off season) and we'll continue to respond as Lex because it feels like people like it and we're having fun!

Sure, I don't see why not.

I'm not very familiar with this type but my scientists tell me this kryptonite makes Kryptonians "fabulous" or "giddy", whatever that's suppose to mean.

Personally, it doesn't really cause harm to Kryptonians the way I intended but to each their own, I suppose. Unless...do you plan to publicly humiliate Superman by making him do a little dance that you will blackmail him with later?! Yes, of course...I see the vision now.

Mods (edit): Just to be clear, you don't actually have to torture Kryptonians for this event. We (the mods) just thought it would be fun to lean into the whole "Lex Luthor bit". If you check out the types of kryptonites this event features below, you'll see that a lot of kryptonites aren't as harmful as green kryptonite (and some are just kind of silly).

\o/ Blackout day! Every single prompt on the bingo cards was so good, I agonized endlessly over which ones I should try to hit with which kryptonites, until finally I realized I had to just give tf up and do ALL the prompts, with ALL the kryptonites. :'D

Today's entry was for "any other kryptonite", besides the ones that had already been the themes for previous days; I went with a variety called "slow kryptonite", which affects humans the same way green kryptonite affects Kryptonians, for my final three non-free-space squares of "Kryptonian Biology", "Calling for Backup", and "Prolonged Exposure":

My bingo card at the end of @kryptonite-week! Realized that my day 2 fic with Blue Kryptonite also fills for Captured by the Enemy so I added that.

This was really fun! Next time I might try to get a bingo on each of the bingo cards, that would be tricky but fun. :)

Also, fun fact: I wrote for @sabineweek, which is also this week (last fic tomorrow!), at the same time, plus a multichapter Star Wars fic. (plus 1k in outlining for future fics) So by tomorrow, I'll have published 12 fics this week. I've written ~26,000 words in the last two and a half months. Which was fun but also somewhat hellish. In general I'd advise against it. 😆
