Miscellanous octo headcanons for my au
I may elaborate more on these later
- Kwazii is intersex but generally male presenting although its more of a " well everyone calls me a lad and I dont mind so alright ig lol im just existing"
- Barnacles is mildly scared of Koshi... its like she's planning to replace him sometimes and honestly its a bit frightening
- Dashi is scared of needles. Which makes sense, because not only are needles sharp, but since she's a dog she can smell everything inside- and it smells very very evil
- Tweak has eaten small Lego pieces as a child. She was very mad about being told what to do so she decided to break the rules and eat a bunch of tiny legos. She never told anyone but sometimes she still wonders if theyre still inside her or if she just has like, alot of Micro AND macro plastics in her.
- Shellington doesnt have nightmares often but when he does its just sea creatures being mad at him thay he got the scientific facts about them wrong-
- Peso thinks that the way all the mammals of the ship walk is really cute, the same way we think waddling is cute. Other penguins dont necessarily have those feelings, but Peso thinks the way everyone walks is kinda like hopping- so therefore its cute
- Dashi's secret is that she's eaten food off of the floor but pretends that she's the type of person that would never eat food off of the floor
- Koshi is HoH (hard of hearing) and Dashis mom is Deaf, ever since Dashi was little she's been able to sign
- Kwazii occasionally goes to pirate joints without mentioning it to the others whenever they dock for supplies. One time Tweak was *ahem* curious, and followed him. Only for Dashi to follow her because she was acting so suspicious- he wanted to get charms and herbs for protection. Tweaks concerns were unfounded-
- Inkling met Calico Jack in the past back when he was just Kareem. Inkling was a traveling explorer and CJ was still trying to find his place. They met briefly and helped eachother out of a hard spot... and then they met again several decades later. When they met they sorta just stared at eachother weirdly... just this silent old man stare while studying eachother....they played some chess.
- YEA LOL reminds me of meomi being asked abt kwazii being referred to as she/her in one of the books and they were liek "ya it a typo but hes open minded to how u wanna see him" i hav a feeling u were inspired from that
