HEHEHE THANK YOUU I made myself laugh when I put that :3c
Using this as an excuse to talk about them a little bc I miss them. Cyan come home the. uhhh. idk, the succulents miss you. All two of them.
1) Whimsy and joy. Bright eyed and bushy tailed to jaded and a little exhausted. They still keep some of their whimsy!! Dont get me wrong!! But yeah they start to wonder at what point it’s still worth it to stick with the Agency when it’s cost them so much, but then also they’re essentially trapped there because of the prices they’ve paid. Something something didn’t read the fine print and now they’re physically part Agency property. Yay!!
2) More about the sparkle in their eye. or absurd addition/extreme lack of as time goes on. Due to the TK implant, their pupils tend to reflect/glow a pinprick of cyan hue. Like how when pictures with flash are taken, people’s eyes can look red? Yeah that but blue and constant for Phoenix. This pinprick slowly becomes more purple as the games go on, as while they weren’t exposed to a ton of heat after Death Engine, they sure as hell were when the building exploded in the aftermath of the Peace Summit, and it destabilized the kinesium in their TK juuust ever so slightly. Not enough to be an immediate threat and warrant removal/replacement, but enough to cause wicked migraines and pronounced astigmatism. Had it been any more destabilized by the time of KBOOM, they would uhh. yeah the title of the mission would be taken literally. Tiny built in brain pipebomb yippee!!!
3) Clothing. Or the progressive lack of. They start out wanting to be super professional, picking what’s best so as to blend in (navy/cool grey suit) but also have a signifier that they’re with the EOD (TK colored tie). This is abandoned after Death Engine, as they had ditched it at the Zoraxis base while switching to an employee jumpsuit/uniform before entering the shuttle. For game 2, the only time I can think of their outfit being slightly different is for Stage Fright, just switch the white shirt for a navy/black one, roll down the sleeves, and exchange the tie for a steel blue bowtie. The rest of the time, they choose that outfit because it’s classy enough, yet still allows for a wide range of movement. Also, cmon. Spy and the Liar, they gotta look the part 🙂↕️ unintentionally playing along with Juniper’s power trip fantasy where he’s living in one of his action movies or something. For game 3, the vest is discarded (was destroyed during PS aftermath), and all that remains is an alternate pair of pants, some spare suspenders, and ol reliables (classic white shirt + blue tie. They have many spares of the exact same tie dont ask). Not only do they not really care much for looks by this point, but they also probably can’t afford a new nice suit, especially not if whatever new wardrobe they get will end up destroyed by week’s end.
“I miss them” I say as they’ve been my pfp since the dawn of this account. maybe its time for an update or a switch idk, its kinda iconic by this point
