I think Ink was so used to calling him Broomie, I think he would sometimes slip up and call him by his old name. Since Onyx is on good terms with Ink here, he wouldn't mind.
I still find it funny no matter the time, Ink will be confused about where Onyx is.

I was just looking at my old art with Onyx. I saw this. After all this time this is still very adorable. Stars, I miss them both spending time together.
This is such an old comic, I almost want to redraw it. But maybe it's better to leave it like that as a sweet memory from the past.

This comic kind of turned into how to figure out how to draw Error and Ink until I like it.
Not only did I forget what the Error palette looked like and I had to look at references until I chose one that I liked and that suited my drawing style…. the same thing about Ink's vials.
