P.S. A little bird told me that in one of the tiles there’s a secret message. Can you find it?
Hullo, it's been a while, uh? 👁u👁
here's a piece I really had fun doing and that maybe some of you saw at #TIC6 👀
Jahane commissioned me this miniature-style illustration based on the Tudor style, and I had fun adding some details inspired by Shakespeare's works:
💐🧪Flowers, poison, and balcony tower: Romeo and Juliet
👑🗡Crown & sword: Henry V
💍 📿Ring and Chain: Comedy of Errors
🐻❄️Bear and winter elements : The Winter's Tale
I hope people who participated to the Shakespeare quiz at the con enjoyed this! :3
How precious is this?
How heartwarming is this?
I’m speechless! That’s so goooood!
Ok do you remember that scene in Staged when Michael and David are ‘forced’ to write something together? Well do you have the ground for this play. Now let’s change the characters a bit, will you? Let’s make it GO so David is Crowley as Marlowe and Michael is Aziraphale as Shakespeare, ok? Great! Now let’s explore all the unspoken words between them and make it a play in which ineffable is the life motive of Shakespeare character and fuck the world and let’s go to France is Marlowe only desire in life. And there you have it. The opposites that actually want to be there for one o other but can’t cause well god is unfair. Even Shakespeare words about god made me thing about a certain silly angel. He said something like ‘I need do be think of god as something I can’t explain, comprehend, grasp, because otherwise if I’m stupid enough to understand Him I’m nothing’. I mean that’s incredibly well written! I loved every single word!
