Beastlies will be available in the shop tomorrow, Tuesday 4/25 at noon Pacific!

Bug vases will be available on FRIDAY at 11am Pacific! They can be previewed in the shop as of now.

An incense burner, two vessels, and a planter will be in the shop Tuesday at 2pm Pacific!

The bigger/more ambitious a piece is, the higher the odds that it'll break/crack/explode/fail in some way. But of course the longer I spend on a piece, the more invested I get. Got two big ones currently in various stages of completion, and they're both stressing me out.

Small shop update today-- Monday 2/13 at noon Pacific. Two plesiosaur fossils and a wise creature to hold your bev of choice plus a pomegranate & beetle vase! All four can be previewed now in the shop.

Fresh Beastlies in the shop Tuesday 1/10 at 11am Pacific!

I was just thinking about some classic Beastlie characteristics that have sort of fallen away in recent years... There are a few that I consciously abandoned for various reasons, and some were unintentional. For this round, I decided to revisit some of the ones that I still felt were interesting, and I think they turned out well!

Oh hey! If you're one of the folks who have been waiting for the next fossil mug drop, now's the time! Well, more accurately, Thursday 1/5/23 at noon Pacific is the time. Also! This friendly guardian planter will be available as well. And this is the place.

The surprising amount of rain we've been getting has been slowing down my ceramic production. To protect the studio I use for all other media from the clay dust situation, my ceramic zone is basically a tent in the back yard. It's water resistant, not water proof. So my next shop drop is likely to be another round of Beastlies. Beastlies: The Inside Art!

I used to do little individual mini-stories for each Beastlie, sometimes theming the whole batch... I haven't had time to do that regularly these days, but I do miss it. I'm going to revive it for this drop. Preview can be found here.

Working on getting a reasonable number of Beastlies ready for an update this week. I should have a small ceramic update not long after. Meanwhile, a reminder that I have some larger pieces like these available through the Stranger Factory gallery.

Adding layers of porcelain slip. Sound on to hear my favorite non-natives, the local parrot flock, going absolutely bonkers in the tree behind me. Next step for this piece will be cleaning up the edges of the porcelain.
