Courfeyrac walked over to where Combeferre was sitting a little away from the rest and threw an arm around his shoulders. Combeferre, who was paying attention to the stars and nothing else, was startled by the action.
“Sorry,” Courfeyrac laughed. Combeferre swatted his arm in mock annoyance, so Courfeyrac gave him a quick kiss on the cheek in apology. “What are you looking at? Aliens?”
“If I had discovered aliens while you were setting up tents, you would have been the first to know.”

tomorrow's sun hasn't risen (but our sneakers are tied and the city is wide) - Modern Setting, Enjolras/Grantaire, 2.5k. you know when it's late at night and the city is open and everything feels draped in soft light and everyone's smile (but like, one person's in particular) just feels like possibility? pshaw, Enjolras has no idea about that, what are you talking about.

Hello!! Here are the two pieces I wrote for last year’s @lesmiszine. Thank you to everyone who supported it! I had a blast working on these and the artwork that accompanies each one made me lose my mind when I saw them, seriously, they’re both so good. From This Day Forward: Modern AU, Enjolras & Jean Valjean. At the reception of Marius and Cosette’s wedding, Jean Valjean finds he is seated next to someone named Enjolras, a man he has heard Cosette talk about but has never met. Speeches are made, dancing is done, an unexpected friendship is formed. Featuring art by @tvheit! That Which Fans the Flames: Canon Era, Courfeyrac/Marius. Last night, the status of Marius and Courfeyrac’s friendship was thrown into question by some wine, an embrace, and the confession that followed. Today they must decide what they intend to do about it. Featuring art by @sssara-b!
