So for my Fool artwork I really wanted a specific pattern to overlay onto a jester outfit, but I couldn't find one I liked so I literally spent 3 hrs colouring in an isometric grid bc I'm normal. Anyway here are the results! I like the last colour scheme the best 🌈

#HE ENTERED MY BRAIN UNANNOUNCED AND I WAS POSSESSED INTO DRAWING HIM ONCE AGAIN#anyway I was feeling sad while making this- I think a lot about how lonely and misunderstood beloved would have been at Buckkeep#my baby#on the other hand I couldn't stop coming up with stupid Fitz rhymes#Fitz affixes heists with glitz and wits via a brat's devices#Fitz splits his knits and calls it quits#ROTE#rote fanart#the fool#beloved rote#realm of the elderlings#Farseer trilogy#oh and not only how lonely and misunderstood beloved is#but how he intentionally makes himself incomprehensible and almost completely opaque#when he's so warm and loving and colourful and I cry about it a lot#esp the moment Fitz enters his room for the first time and realises beloved contains hidden#multitudes etc

What’s the coolest thing you’ve seen on google maps

Oh hey! My top 2 are:

1. The salt flats that work their way from the bottom of Western Australia to the middle-ish of SA. Zooming both in and out is really cool. The patterns and colours are truly wonderful.

2. I once ended up in Switzerland on this tourist track I think? In this deep crevasse with a river, and as you walk next to the river right at the bottom, the crevasse opens up and the river widens and you suddenly come out onto a beautiful valley.

3. My wandering on google earth hobby started years ago when I came across this website on tumblr: http://secretdoor.notepadwebdevelopment.com/

(it's best to access it on a tablet or computer). It plays calming music and picks you up and puts you somewhere random in the world. Just really cool- I used to spend hours and hours on there just hanging out :')
