So wait are livestock guardian dogs to their flocks like… Clark Kent among the residents of Smallville? He’s been here since he was a baby, we all know him, and he’s… generally one-of-us shaped, uh, approximately. And then when something goes wrong he suddenly leaps into action and does some terrifying impossible shit none of us could do. And then comes back home and settles in like nothing happened and he’s one of us again.

I have the headcanon that Katniss’ kids keep bunnies as pets and one day, one of them dies from old age. That evening Katniss serves him up for dinner (food is food) and all hell breaks loose. The kids scream and cry, Peetah desperately tries to calm them down and Haymitch falls off his chair from laughing so hard while Katniss grumbles about how she doesn’t understand what they are on about.

After reading the Epilogue this headcanon is just cemented into my brain. I love her, but Katniss-I-tried-to-drown-my-sisters-cat-Everdeen would be fun to watch as a mother.

I didn’t know you couldn’t eat animals that died naturally 🧍🏻 i have been a vegetarian for like 10 years

also: it’s funny / horrifying how many people have a similar story 😭 i guess my grandma was not alone in her experience

While I completely understand if Suzanne Collins never wants to write another book; I do think it would be of value to see Finnick’s games. A career tribute’s games.

To me, one of the most impactful characters of SOTR was Panache. His humiliation at the interviews at the hands of the Capitol citizens and his later interactions with Haymitch sat like a lead ball in my stomach. Suzanne perfectly illustrates how no matter how hard an oppressed person tries to get close to their oppressor, even by siding with them to the detriment of their fellow oppressed person, they will NEVER be allowed to be part of their social group.

Panache thought his brutality would afford him humanity. He thought he would be respected and welcomed with open arms and yet he was mocked and killed for sport.

I think in this political climate it would be crucial to see the perspective of a career tribute like Finnick and the subsequent disillusionment that follows when he realises that no amount of kicking down will allow him to travel up.

This might possibly be the most boring and common question you’ve been asked, but how long have you been digital making art? I love your drawings, especially the pieces you did of Frankenstein. They’re beautiful.

I have always been drawing since I was little but I really got back into it in 2020 during the pandemic. That’s when I opened my insta art account :)
