patrols were always boring. not just for prohero!katsuki, but for his loving wife, you, at home.
you'd quit your job, because why would you not? katsuki was bringing in more than enough money to fund your lifestyle. you kept yourself busy with hobbies, movies, and activities.
but there was only so much of it that you could take without your husband at your side.
it was mind-numbingly unbearable for the two of you, well more so you, considering katsuki got to beat the life out of random criminals whenever he was called to a scene, to be waiting at the late hours of the night for him to come home.
a small reprieve was him giving you access to his intercom. it was meant mostly for emergencies.. but it seemed to grow more casual as the patrols started to frequent into the nighttime.
but hey, according to you, boredom is a major emergency.
as prohero!katsuki walked down the street with an angry glare to anyone who even looked as if they were thinking of doing a crime, your voice suddenly rang through his ears. then, he turned a familiar corner.
"should be any time now." he mumbled to himself, looking into the night sky as if to confirm his prediction. he pulled his headband back and gazed down at the watch that you had gifted him.
as if on cue, the ugly glare vanished from his face as he heard your irritated voice.
