couple of issues in the new house that I'm trying to solve
- the room is sort of clean but not up to my standard of clean (yet)
- the bathroom has a weird smell (not awful; just musty, sort of?)
- the kitchen door is a heavy af fire door that slams closed and shakes the entire house (still looking for a solution for this one, haven't found anything satisfactory)
- no nets in the room windows (yet)
- the tree outside has dropped its bletted fruit (too bad, I love medlars & co.) and it is a gory mess outside the front door

heated rivalry is amazing because it has all the appeal of something that’s good AND all the appeal of something that sucks. i didn’t think “good adaptation of maddeningly bad source material” was a thing that could exist but here we are.

If you want to stand up for transgender Canadians, then there's a petition to ask the federal government to repeal the acts signed into law that restrict transgender medical care for transgender youth:
You need only be a resident of Canada, not a citizen to sign. Please help us give transgender youth a fighting chance. Their medical care decisions should be between the handling physician and family only. This isn't a matter for politicians to decide.
