book: the outsiders! but i'm reading two books right now called sabriel and akata witch that im really liking

When I first started I didn’t have a pfp or a good name, and someone sent me an ask and said they almost blocked cause they thought I was a bot, so I found a pic of a shark that had a blue background and that’s were the name came from

Show: I started watching Castlevania a few days ago and my gods I love it! I only have one episode of season 2 to watch now
Movie: It’s still easily Frankenstein (2025), I love that movie sm
Book: it’s a tie between Krampus: The Yule Lord by Brom and Dark Harvest by Norman Partridge, both are amazing (tho I am reading The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones and so far it’s really good, it’s nice to see natives being written as everyday people and not just being the token Indian)

like 2 days ago it was Raveyard by Lord of the Lost and Käärijä, but now it’s We Don’t Have to Dance by Andy Black

1 - origin of your username?
i originally was like. idk id had a mug of grape juice (only cup available) and joked with my mom that i ‘had a mug of wine haha’ and for some reason that phrase stuck w me til i made my account and then a bit later i was like wow this . this sucks actually. what was i thinking. so i changed it to shark. not sure where that bit came from though
2 - i will Always order this food:
fuck if i know. i have some that i will always get from certain places but not an overarching one. there’s a restaurant near where i used to live that had really good mac and cheese and i miss it tbh. actually generally i do quite like mac n cheese if its offered, so maybe that or like. idk. fettuccine alfredo.
3 - overused emojis:

favorite movie: is . idfk. i don’t watch Movie movies much. most recent was puss in boots the last wish though and it was really baller so ye favorite show: is the Blacklist ! :) just got to the first episode of season 3 ^w^ raymond reddington you are a horrible little freak and i want to put you in a blender frfr. wretched man 🫵 favorite book: oughhhh i don’t know ,,,, i rediscovered peter and the starcatchers by dave barry and ridley pearson the other day. we’ve got signed copies of the first . three? books iirc. lovely series. i very like cats of tanglewood forest by charles de long and charles vess as a returning favorite though

mmm. hm. i can’t think of anything i’d call ‘oddly’ specific ???? idfk. i like the way things look through water. i like the colors of leaves both in and out of sunlight. i like looking down the street and just observing the colors and shapes of things. i like the way my cat looks at me when im petting him and he’s sprawled out in my lap purring away like it’s the best day of his life. i like listening to music and hearing the melodies and trying to picture what textures they’d be, or what colors.
i like a lot of specific things, i guess.

love the smell of rain. fuckin . it’s great. love when it rains and you can smell the clouds and the wet grass and leaves and the fresh damp soil. yknow? also. love the smell of my Person. when they’re next to me n i put my nose against the place where their neck meets their shoulders and it just surrounds me. feels safe. i like it.
10 - morning, night, or other?
night, if i’m not forced otherwise. like if i go off on my own schedule, i will gravitate towards a ‘go to sleep at 3-5am, wake at noon-2pm’ kind of timing. it’s nice, but only because i generally like the quiet and stillness that late nights tend to bring. it’s also unfortunately incredibly inconvenient.

when i was like 11 i went on a backpacking trip n it was like . a summer camp type thing where we spent the whole week going tk day camp learning about backpacking and preparing for the trip and then the weekend was the trip. and one of the things that was brought up was trail names, that a lot of backpackers would get nicknames from each other while out on the trail. and us being kids ofc we immediately started trying to come up with nicknames for each other. kat with a k was mine

my second annual hollowbrook hideaway AMV
the most challenging part of my artistic journey is the lack of new, different, and varied farmland across this server. so few bases; so few farms. and the few farms that exist are almost entirely wheat. it vastly shrinks my portfolio, and forces me to retread old ground; i cannot expand my horizons as an artist, i cannot move further afield, if you will. not to mention, my art being insulted at every turn by the """uncropper""", who is clearly obsessed with me. truly, my art is limited. but that is the price i must pay.
At the beginning, there was snow, and there were flowers. Purple and red Zinnias for royalty and loyalty. Pink roses for grace and admiration.
In the end, there was snow. So much snow. And there were flowers. A patch of red poppies for sacrifice and remembrance. Nine crimson roses for mourning.

From there it's not actually difficult to get the other soldiers onboard with covering up the fact that poor Ping took one for the team and got afflicted by the vagina curse, especially since it would have been all of them if they hadn't gotten the warning ahead of time. So they agree to help him cover it up, because obviously the army's not going to understand.
Shang is... tentatively glad that the men are bonding and getting along, even if they continue to be deeply weird about it.
