Hi everyone, I hate that I have to make this post but please do not repost/re-upload my art onto other apps and websites. My recent TADC artwork got really popular and was seen on Facebook and TikTok, I do not have those apps for a reason and don't want my art there. Reposting "with credit" is not okay with me either.
The only places I've posted are on here and Instagram, I do have BlueSky but I don't really use it anymore. It's personal preference that I don't add watermarks or sign my art, but that doesn't give anyone the ok to claim it, use it, or repost it. My art isn't your source of "content", it's something that's special to me, even fanart.
It's disrespectful, I don't appreciate it, and it really makes me sad, man. I put so much effort and heart into what I make and love sharing it with everyone, I don't appreciate it being taken.
That being said, PLEASE DO NOT go and harass anyone on my behalf, I will never encourage or condone that. If you want to advocate for me that's fine, but always be respectful.
It's a shitty thing to do to an artist, and I don't have the time or energy to handle it, I just want it known that I never condone it being done with my art, and I'll just be sad somewhere in a corner about it for a while.
Thanks for all the love and comments, especially to the people who came here from those reposts, I'd much rather you like and comment on my original artwork than someone who took it without permission.
At the end of the day I'm glad my art and ideas had such an emotional impact with all of you and could make you feel something, it validates what I do and pushes me to keep creating. ❤️
