Copyright should end when a company stops selling the original piece of media

Or 50 years after publication, whichever is first

I'm sorry but if I can't watch a movie or play a game legally, then it shouldn't be piracy to do so

Take Pokemon Emerald, that game is no longer sold by Nintendo*, and they have no plans to rerelease it, so why should I who wants to play this game, have to commit something technically a crime to play it?

And this gets more important for less famous pieces of media that didn't sell millions of copies, where copyright fundamentally exists in a manner which blocks preservation and access

being obsessed with your own ocs is its own kind of torment nexus. "i miss them so much :(((" and they're literally in your brain.

Too much movement makes your joints hurt and too little movement also makes your joints hurt. This would imply that there's an optimal amount of movement that allows your joints to not hurt. This is a lie.

My whole obsession with albw was basically reignited because I kept thinking about how detrimental the idea of a mirror world could be. Apart from the obvious threat in the actual game of taking power from another world, I always think about how the very idea of the existence of a counterpart world damaged a lot of Hilda and Ravio's moral compass.

It’s not just that another world exists and is objectively better, but that Lorule is defined in contrast: The β€œdark” and a failing version by default. Obviously that's understandable.

Then comes the idea that I never thought Hilda and Ravio ever believed they were morally correct with everything. I imagined their upbringing was difficult because of Lorule's declining state, and as a result bonded over that immensely.

Then imagine coming to terms that your world is the labeled distorted counterpart. And by proxy, you perhaps being a distorted counterpart.

I imagine that narrative pressured both of them into desperation and pushed them to their actions ingame.

Maybe to prove they were beyond that (Hilda).

Or out of resignation or fear (Ravio).

Even if in order to prove it they had to be unthetical about it.

It basically was inevitable that both Hilda and Ravio were never going to be heroes in the clean sense.

Then I slow down my train of thought and remember that I'm talking about the silly game albw.
